Update BRIDGE necessary. For our CastSentinel3.0 and Sentinel4.0 customers


We kindly inform our esteemed customers that, from the date of 14.04.2010, for technical reasons and in order to improve service in Bridge, the address of the server for viewing cameras remotely is changed. All users of our software will perform a quick procedure to remain eligible for free Bridge service. The previous address present on the software stops running and will be replaced by:

bridge.castsentinel.net


The update process will be to replace the old IP address 212.239.41.229 with bridge.castsentinel.net both on PC software and mobile devices as described below.


PC software:


Open the DVR software on the PC and go to

Bridge Options.


• Locate the old address
212.239.41.229 and replace it with bridge.castsentinel.net

• Click update and then restart the machine.


Mobile software:


After this procedure, we must change this as well on mobile, PDA, BlackBerry previously used for viewing remote cameras.

 
• Open the software on your mobile device

• Go to Profiles and click edit.

• Now go to the settings of the bridge and replace the old 212.239.41.229 with the new address bridge.castsentinel.net (or "81.31.149.90" if your device has problem to input letter), if there is already "bridge.castsentinel.net" then just keep it.

• Save the profile


Or, You can use your phone and Blackberry browser go to www.miforum.com/wap/sentinel to download and install latest mobile software for CastSentinel and Sentinel4 with correct bridge address.
PocketPC user please download this to your PC and then use Activesync to install the software on your device.
